Wow, its been more then a month since 1 post!
Busy busy busy… so many things to sort and do!
In a nutshell, things that I am busy with now:
1) Choosing photos from childhood to present
2) Wedding invitation cards inserts
3) Wine hunting
4) Guest List
5) Songs to be use for actual day
6) Video slide show
7) WORK WORK WORK!
Will be back soon to showcase my photoshoot photos!
Cheers!
Phew! Finally done with the photoshoot.
Never had I smile so much in a day. Even though its tiring and siong but it was fun though, reminded me of this song ‘… I’m a model, you know what I mean …’
We reach the studio at 10am, make up, dressed up and starting photo shoot from round 12pm. The studio shoot ended round 4pm (we are the last couple in the studio, by 4pm the other 2 couples had already went for their outdoor shoot!) So we changed and rushed for the outdoor shoot!
We went to Marina Barrage, took photos for about an hour and went off to 1 Degree 15. The shoot ended round 7pm (finally, by then, Iris was very tired and her feet were sore…)
Even though, it is tiring, but we enjoyed the process, its fun
We will be doing our photo selection on 10 July, till then!
Below is a preview, I managed to asked Guo Rong (Photographer) to take a few shots for us, enjoy

3rd July will be our photo shoot. Am feeling so excited about it!
Seems like there is so many things to prepare just for this shoot. Need to buy shirts, shoes etc. Thats not all! Still need to go for a little bit of grooming sessions like hair cut (erm, think thats bascially about it for guys, the rest will be Photoshop! haha)
Iris is sure busy grooming and buying! WOMEN! haha… Facial la, then the dun noe wat cure la (pedi and medi)
all sorts of merchant friendly stuffs.
We plan to go to the following place for our shoot:
1) 1 Degree 15 @ Sentosa
2) The Jewel box
3) Henderson wave
Not sure if time is against us… hope all is fine!
Will update the photos after the shoot! till then
Wow, getting married is really about spending and spending and spending…
Luckily, there are SALES going on almost everywhere! We managed to buy our bedroom furniture last Sunday during the Novena Warehouse sale. Not a bad deal though, and the good thing is, they can let us hold the delivery for 6 months! Will upload the photos soon, please do check back.
Went to the Robinsons sale to day and bought pillows and quilt. We save slightly more then 40% off the list price! haha, am I a cheapo or what!
6 more months to our big day. Iris is busy grooming herself, going for this and that to make sure she looks good on her big day. Me? No way am I going to do whats she doing. haha I rather spend the time thinking what should be done!
To do list:
1) Look out for wine supplier
2) Look out for printers to print inserts for the wedding invitation cards
3) Get busy with this blog and check out SingaporeBrides.com for more tips!
Anyone of you with siggestions please post comment. Thanks!
Decided to book a Mercedes Benz SLK 200ML from weddingcars.sg as our wedding car and I will drive it myself to pick up the bride on the Actual day. Feeling so excited about driving the car man!
This is the car! Nice hor.

Finally managed to get a Actual Day Photo and Video package.
We signed a package with Jacky from InJack Studio, my friend took up his package then and I find his work nice.
We booked a 4 room BTO (Built to order) flat in Fernvale ista pharse 2 sometime in 2007. Prior to that, we balleted for Buangkok’s flat 3 times but failed to get it… What a disappointment.
But getting the flat at Fernvale is also good, cause its in the middle of our parents and it is walking distant to Jalan Kayu! Can eat prata almost everyday liao, hehe. And the good thing is it is 25th storey! Should have a nice view from there
Our flat is in the midst of construction now, estimated date is Dec 2012, wa sey, so long! Drove past our flat last 2 weeks and the progress seems quite fast, already at level 7. Hope to get the flat by 2011!
Below is the Artist Impression of our flat:

To me (Damian), a proposal ring is like a one in a life time thingy. I done some research and decided on the following specs:
1) Must be DEF colour
2) Min a VVS2
I felt that the clarity and colour is very important as it represent ‘purity’. As such, I am not particular about cut and carat, so I left this for Iris to decide… (AND THIS IS THE MISTAKE I MADE!! haha)
After deciding on the clarity and colour, both of us go diamond ring hunting. Been to places like Lee Hwa, Soo Kee and many more and ended up in Larry. Looked through their list and I saw the exact spec I was looking for!
VVS2, E colour! And further more, they are having their relocation sale, so ended up buying the proposal ring from Larry Jewelry.
